Parent Meeting

There will be a parent meeting directly after practice Wed. August 10, 2011. It will begin promptly at 8:15 and will be brief. We will also accept apparel payment at this time so please be prepared to do so.

Tryouts

Tryouts will be held tuesday August 9, 2011 in the NHS gym from 6-8:00. You MUST have a physical with you to tryout.

2011-2012 Physicals

Shaw High School will be hosting a day where student atheletes can get their annual physicals completed for $10. NHS students need to plan on being at Shaw High School on Schomburg Rd. at 11:45 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011.
Student atheletes MUST have a valid physical to participate in ANY summer workouts, tryouts, or practices throughout the season and school year. Please take care of this soon so that there is no rush when back to school events start to happen.

Summer Schedules 2011

Girls who will be returning to play NHS Patriot Volleyball for the 2011 season met on May 4 to receive individual camp information, information about physicals on May 14, and a hard copy of the summer workout/practice schedule. If you did not receive one, please see Coach Dailey in portable 6 at school to get copies.

Season's Endings

Northside Lady Patriot Varsity Volleyball wrapped up its season on Saturday, Oct. 9 at the Area 1- AAAA tournament hosted by Houston County High School. Northside went 0-2 losing to Northside Warner Robins 25-10, 25-20, and to Hardaway High School 25-19, 25-17.

The Lady Patriots were led by sophomore Rachel Hawk with 4 kills and 2 digs, by senior Frankie Noad with 4 kills and 3 blocks, and by freshman Lindsay Shirah with 2 aces and 2 digs. Additionally, Rachel Hawk and Frankie Noad were both nominated to the Are 1-AAAA All Area All Stars Team.

The Lady Patriots Varsity Team ended their 2010 season 13-16 and will graduate with four seniors: Julie Hutchins, Kristen Lowe, Frankie Noad, and Stephanie Smith.

Sweet Endings!


A sweet ending to the regular Lady Patriot volleyball seasons as both the JV and Varsity teams sweep past Central High School this afternoon!

The JV Lady Patriot team ended their regular season with a 17-1 record and as undefeated region standings-FANTASTIC!!!!

Come out to the early morning region playoffs in Houston County High School as the Varisty team travels to Warner Robins to play for region champs at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, October 9, at Houston County High School. Go girls go!
